Welcome
Newsflash: the Mans Top 10 Christmas list
Now fellas you know we weren't gonna leave you out. Here is the top fashions and accessories that you need to be asking for. Some of the items you may have seen in the other list but these are the manly versions. And ladies...consult this list too when your shopping for your boo. Again...we hope this helps you get a head start.
1. Boots: Mid boots, chukka boots, Shearling lined boots, boots with buckles, rugged looking boots, slip on dress boots...all types of boots. Step out this winter in style with boots. My fav right now are chukka boots. If you dont know what chukka boots are they are basically an ankle length boot with laces. Although Im sure your jeans or pants are going to be covering the top of the boot, they'll still give your fit a classic look whether you're going for casual or dressy. With a suit or with jeans, boots are it. Check out Cole Haan, Aldo or Johnston & Murphy for different styles and looks.
2. Leather gloves: The time of knit, sports gloves are over. Its time to step it up. Fellas get your grown man on with some leather gloves. Its best to match your gloves to your nice dress winter coat. You can still wear the knit gloves with sportswear like sweatshirts and such, but if your stepping out to a nice restaurant or event, leather gloves will be perfect. Try'em out at Dillards, Saks Fifth Avenue or Macy's by many different designers and different price ranges.
3. Military Coats: These coats give off an aura of manly sophistication and class. These will work perfectly with your leather gloves too. Check them out at Macy's, Cole Haan, and Express Men.
4. Plaid Shirts: This is not your average Farmers market plaid shirt...its a lot more cool. Try a plaid with a good mix of basic colors and a little more fitted. Now im not saying like skin tight fitted...jus make sure the shirt fits. Nothing oversized. Up your game. The days of oversized everything is over. Sorry. Check out Forever 21 and J Crew.
5. Messenger Bags: Attn: These are not man purses. They are messenger bags. They are large cross body messenger bags that can fit your laptop, books for class or whatever. Because I know that even guys need something to carry all their crap in on a daily basis. Find one in strong calfskin leather. Check out J Crew, Banana Republic or Cole Haan.
6. Shaving Kit: a nice leather shaving kit is awesome for traveling in style. Ladies a good idea is to put all your mans fav personal grooming products (deodorant, shaving foam, cologne etc) in the kit and give it as a gift. Check out Macy's, Cole Haan, or Dillards. Get all the essential grooming products at Target or Walmart.
7. cologne: who doesnt like to smell good. Like I told the ladies, go to Macy's or Nordstrom or whatever retailer and test some cologne out and see which one you like best. Let your girl know. Who knows it mite be in your new leather shaving kit. lol. Givenchy "Play" is an awesome new fragrance what was created with the help of Justin Timberlake. Check it out.
8. Wallet: Fellas I'm sure you already have a wallet but if it is old and busted, cards and money is falling out, and the leather is cracked and shredding, its time to get another one. Period. Check out TJMaxx for nice, low priced designer wallets, or like almost everything else, check out Macy's, Nordstrom, or Cole Haan for nice wallets.
9. Dark denim: Ok so I know most of you already have dark denim but if you dont...you need some. The days of light, bleached denim is over...and frankly has been over.
10. This one was pretty hard...I couldnt really figure out what is the number 10 thing a man should ask for for Christmas...so I figured anything electronic...that should make you guys happy rite???
Have fun with the list--a.k.47

SPOTLIGHT...
In case you have been living under a rock, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom tied the knot after only knowing each other a month to the day of their wedding. Now I'm all for love and knowing when you have found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, but my problem lies with the fact that they decided that they know all they needed to know about each other after only one month before making this HUGE step.
In the non-celebrity dating world, the one month relationship mark still is the phase where your gaurd had yet to be let down. He or she has probably just met yours friends on a group outing. The talk of meeting each others families has not even come up. Its possible that you haven't even slept with each other yet! How could anyone really think that this is the one without specific things happening to determine that marriage the right move?
Now for Khloe and Lamar, they talk about this instant connection they had and it just felt so right, which can truely happen for some people, yet like Tina Turner says, "What's love got to do with it?" Did Khloe stop to think that she would now become the stepmom to his two children? It is rumored that Lamar's son did not meet Khloe before the wedding, and did not WANT to meet Khloe. Does that not strike a problem for the happy couple? Dating someone with kids brings extra to the table for any relationship. As a parent, your kids are a big role in your dating life, as much as you would like them to be. What do you do if your child does not like the person whom you have fallen in love with? Do you marry the person anyway or give it more time before you take that next step? If I were Khloe, there would be no way I could marry Lamar without knowing that his children were ok with us being together. No it might not be the perfect family but to know that his son had such a big problem with us being together would place a hault in my thoughts. I would want the bond to be strong between not just me and him, but also with Lamar and him. I wouldn't want to break up a father son relationship if that's what it was coming down to. And the fact that Lamar was ok with marrying someone that his child didn't want to meet? What does that say about him as a father? Would you want to have kids with someone who did not want to listen to how their child felt about a situation that would be changing their life as well?
Also when dating someone with kids, I want to know why it didn't work out between you and the mother of your children? Lamar and his baby's mom were together for 10 years! 10 years! That's a long time! Why did it not work? Why would they not want to try harder to keep their family together? Was it Lamar who didn't want to commit? Again, things you would want to know before marrying a guy.
Sidebar...And did anyone else hear that a week before meeting Khloe, Lamar popped the question to Taraji P. Henson and she turned him down?! Hmmm...sounds like someone has wedding fever! Khloe might have been second best and she also might want to check out that ring too...that would be terrible to find out if that it was a hand-me-down...I'm just sayin!
Does anyone take marriage seriously anymore? I'm only getting married once. When I finally do take that plung, I'm making for sure he is the one because TIL DEATH DO US PART! In order to get out of this marriage, you gotta die...that's how serious this is!
One thing I do commend Khloe on, she got herself half of everything he owns if this ends in divorce...I'm trying to learn from her! Maybe if I could get myself an NBA player to marry me in a month and get half of everything, I wouldn't sound like such a hater! --KscaY

Newsflash: Top 10 Christmas list-This is for the ladies
So as Christmas approaches, we thought that we'd give you a couple ideas on what to ask Santa for Christmas. We've been looking at all the fashion mags and fashion sites that are out and have come up with the must have list for the holiday season and since its still a little early, hopefully this will give you a heads start.....(and guys if you are reading this...it could help you pick out the perfect gift for your lady friend...you'll thank us later)
1. Boots: these have been all the rave recently and will continue to be through Christmas and winter. Tall boots, short boots, Booties, Boots with tassels, fringe, or buckles have been seen in all the mags and will be great fashion staple this winter. Styles range from wrap around boots with both large and skinny crisscross straps, over the knee with sexy stiletto heels, and ultra versatile riding boots that are great for hitting the club and for everyday. There are a plethora of boots out there that will compliment any style. Boots are a must have. Check out designers such as Cole Haan, Aldo, Coach or BCBG for different styles.
2. Oversized Handbags: Now ladies you know we often carry our life and then some in our purses. So oversized handbags are still a must for the holiday season. I've seen many handbags in rich winter colors like chestnut and dark aubergine. Make a statement with your handbag.
3. Chain link handbags: These it bags will spice up any outfit, casual or dressy. I love the Chanel 2.55 handbag. Its the classic chain link bag that will never go out of style. If you or your boo is ballin enough to cop the Chanel 2.55...do you. But if you are like us normal people, there are chain link bags that will still give you that classic look. Check out different stores like Forever 21 to get your own. (Maybe the Chanel 2.55 can be your Christmas present to yourself)
4. Boyfriend Blazer: Boyfriend blazers are it for the fall and winter. Dress it up or dress it down, Boyfriend blazers bring the chic to any outfit. Check them out in classic black, navy or charcoal at retailers like J.Crew, Gap and Target, that range from $50-$200. JC Pennys also has a cute Boyfriend Blazer by I heart Ronson at a low price.
5. Leather Gloves: Cool accessories are a must this winter. Why can't you stay warm while still looking good? Leather gloves will bring that sophistication that you want when you're trying to stay warm this winter. Look for bright colors and cute accents like bows or grommets. Dillards carries some awesome leather gloves by Preston & York in gorgous bright colors like pink, purple and colbalt for the low price of $48.
6. Mens watches: Menswear watches in stainless steel or leather will help you tell time with class. The days of looking at your cell phone to tell time is over ladies? I love menswear watches with black leather straps and rose gold and black faces. Truly classic. You can even jazz it up with some rhinestones. Check out designers such as Fossil for watches ranging from $100-$150. You can even find cool designer menswear watches at Target, JCPennys or TJ Maxx.
7. Makeup Palettes: Makeup Palettes are the most convenient invention made for women. Everything you could ever want or need in terms of make up can be found in these palettes. My fave is the Sephora Brand Ultimate Blockbuster ($48). It contains 80 eyeshadows, 60 lipglosses, 6 cream eyeliners, 3 eyeliners, 6 matte eyeshadows, 6 sparkling eyeshadows, 3 blushes and 2 lipliners, as well as mini application brushes...I mean what more would you ever need. This is a must have. Also check out the Sephora Electric 360 palette ($34), the Bare Essentials bareMinerals Pure Luxuries Collection ($78), and Tarte Femme Fatale Naturale Eye Palette ($44). All these are available at Sephora and are reasonably priced for all the goodies you get. Napoleon Perdies also has a cool palette available at Target ( Jet SEt Palette $32).
8. Military Coats: If Chic is what you want, chic is what you'll get with these coats. They provide the warmth and the style. Check out Cole Haan, Express and Dillards for awesome styles and prices.
9. Leather Bomber Jackets: These jackets bring a little bad ass to any outfit. Believe it our not you can dress these up or down and still keep it cool and classy. Check out Jcrew or Target for these bomb bombers.
10. Perfume: Every lady loves to smell good. Here's an idea, have your boo pick out a scent he likes and then wear it when you're around him. Also celebrities have been coming out with new scents left and right. Go to Nordstroms or Macy's, smell some and pick your favorites. "Lola" by Marc Jacobs smells great and has a pretty bottle...best of both worlds.
I hope this list gives you some good ideas. I know what Im going to be asking Santa for.--azureDizzle

Random.....
so this is random...you ever have one of those weekends that was interesting but yet not interesting enough to actually be fun? one of those weekends where you just think "man...i should have went to ______", or "i wish i could have spent some time with ____" Yea i just had one of those. It wasn't a "boring" weekend or anything...i just feel like i wasted a weekend...or week for that matter. Maybe it was because I had to work all weekend. I think i know what it is...i think its because I had such an AWESOME time the weekend before that this weekend just couldn't compare. but i guess not every weekend can be as AWESOME was the one before rite? It just sucks for ya'll i guess because I really don't have anything to talk about...well except for this....lol.
Oh and this...sidebar...you ever been @ a bar or club and a guy is really touchy feely and you're like...."get off me" and you spend the whole nite trying to dodge that person. yea I had one of those this weekend too...super annoying.
and sidebar sidebar...hopefully something happens this week so that I can blog about it...lets keep our fingers crossed.
that is all--azureDizzle

Reading Rainbow
Now I know what you're thinking...where in the world have we been??? I know I know...we've been mia. But now that we have our lives back (work..school etc have been monopolizing our time), we will be able to give you what you've been missing.
Sidebar...so I'm really interested in this book entitled "Hungry:A Young Model's Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves" by Crystal Renn, the gorgous plus-sized model who has graced the cover of Bazaar and Vogue. In this auto-biography, Renn describes how she struggled early in her modeling career to keep up her "straight" model figure and how she developed anorexia and other health problems because of it. What i like about Renn is that she is trying to promote the idea of loving yourself the way you are. I think this is a wonderful message for young women, who often feel pressured by societies image of what women should look like. I feel that it is important to love yourself and accept yourself for who you are . If you're not a size 4...who cares??? love yourself. With this im not saying that you should just let urself go...loving yourself goes hand in hand with being healthy. If you're healthy, you'll feel better, if you feel better, you'll love yourself more and more everyday. I think this is the idea that we should keep in our minds everyday. So im going to pick up this book very very soon...maybe you should do the same..it may give you some insight if you're struggling with loving and accepting yourself for who you are. and even if you're not..im sure it will be a good read.--azureDizzle

It's not me, it's you
I met a guy about a month ago while I was out. It was an instant attraction which does not happen to me very often. He was a friend of a friend of A.K. 47 and so we were easily introduced. He was cute, educated, told me about his traveling job and all around seemed like a good catch, someone I could get to know. Our communcation was limited since we didn't get a chance to exchange numbers at the end of the night that we met. Come Labor Day weekend, I heard through the grapevine that he was in town and wanted to hang out with me. I, unfourtunately, was in Chicago for the weekend and was unable to RSVP to the invite. I was quite excited that he had tried to get in touch with me so I sent him a facebook message telling him to save my number and call me if he is even in town again.
I get a TEXT today from him telling me that he was in town for a party and was wanting to meet up. Again, I get excited and immediately thinking of what I was going to wear, calling up friends, trying to get my plans together. I respond by telling him once I get my plans together, I would let him know. Then came a line of questioning that rings my "Douche Bag" alarm.
Question 1: Do you live solo?
My Response: Nope, not at the moment
Question 2: Who do you live with?
My Response: My parents...
Question 3: Do you go home after a late night or to one of your girls' places?
DOUCHE BAG! DOUCHE BAG! STOP RESPONDING! DO NOT PASS GO! DO NOT COLLECT $200! DOES NOT WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU! ONLY WANTS SEX!
The proof is in the pudding! Asking me about my living situation only means that for whatever reason, he thinks I'm going to take him home after our night out with no prior face to face communication, no previous phone conversations, not even a text...is this how guys' game is now? We don't go about sex smoothly anymore? Not even an attempt to see if a girl was planning on sleeping with you to begin with? What if I was wanting to go ahead and let you come over after the club, your approach was such a turn off. You just told me that you are lame, have no swag and don't deserve any nookie from the nookie jar!
Don't get me wrong ladies, it is your choice to sleep with anyone you want after knowing them for as long as you choose, but realize that some of the girls who give it up that easy make it hard for other females who are trying to keep the guys' respect level full blown. I want to make for sure that I am not just wanted for my body. There is a time and a place for hook-ups and one night stands, but at that point, both parties should be at agreement that this arrangement is what it is...SEX. Don't come at me with some lame lines that I can easily read between and expect me to respond positively.
Sidebar(this one is for the guys)...If you are trying to close the deal for the night, a "pre-scheduled booty call" will not do the trick. Let the girl set the tone. At least meet up with the girl first, buy her a couple drinks, try to kiss her and see how far she is willing to go. The girl will let you know if she will follow your lead OR wonder why you are molesting her on the dancefloor, to which she will just stop dancing and slowly walk away. Take the hints PLEASE!

SPOTLIGHT...

Ok i know we've been doing a lot of spotlight shinning these days...but we cant help it when celebrities have been acting like cold fools... and yet again I am shinning the spotlight on someone from the VMAs and you guessed it...Kanye West. Now I wasn't going to post anything about the incident because I had been covered enough by everyone and their momma...but after seeing some posts on the book about how people thought that shit was cool and if we didn't like it then "too bad", I felt that I had to say something.
I don't care what kind of music you like or who you thought should have won that award...you know as well as I do that what Kanye did to Taylor Swift was dead ass wrong. And everyone knows that he is a uber jerk for that. Now we all know that Beyonce's video was the shit and honestly I was confused by her not winning...but to actually go up on stage while Taylor was giving her speech, snatch the mic from her and in so many words tell her that she sucks at life and shouldn't have won the moonman, thats just not cool. Now people were saying that "ohhh you know you were thinking the same thing"...and yes I was but I would never disrespect someone like that and steal their moment. And if everyone said EVERYTHING that they thought no one would have any friends. Period. Yes we all know that Kanye says what he wants when he wants but everyone also knows that that's not always a good thing...he needs to learn to shut what we call the fuck up. And frankly for those of you who thought that shit was cute...you're just as much of a jerk as Kanye is...because that means that you would have done the same thing...and if you wouldn't, that just proves my point and you know that shit was wrong. Don't lie to yourself.
Now let me just say that I appreciate that he apologized to Taylor cuz that's what he needed to do...and Im sure if his mother was still alive (RIP) she would have smacked the shit out of him for that.-- azureDizzle

Now I know most of the world watched the MTV VMA's last nite and witnessed the craziness that ensued. Im going to put the spotlight on Lady Gaga...and those outlandish, ridiculous outfits. Now let me just say this...Gaga, I understand what u are trying to do here...you want us to talk about you...and honestly its working...cuz any publicity is good publicity rite??? How-frickin-ever that doesn't mean that you need to go walking around looking like who-the-f-shot-john. Point and case...the VMA costumes that were donned...(i cant really even call them outfits for real...normal people wear outfits...these were costumes). Evidence 1: The costume that Gaga wore on the red carpet (pic 1) was uber ridiculous...the girl couldn't even turn her head to look at kermit for goodness sake. Now when ur motor skills are impaired by an outfit that means that you shouldn't wear it. Evidence 2: the costume that she wore to accept her moonman...can I say human twizzler?? I don't know if she was going for a metaphor or allegory or something but damn it...NO ONE GOT IT. Obviously it was just too deep for us to understand. Evidence 3: the third costume that she donned near the end of the VMA's...I think this took the cake...was that a birds nest on her face??? I surprised a real bird didn't fly down from the rafters to take perch on her shoulder or some shit like that....all I can say is Gaga you keep things interesting. Maybe the fashion world is just not ready for you....but will it ever be is the question.

Just want to say congrats to Nicol Richie for adding her new born baby boy to the ridiculous celebrity baby name list! Yesterday, her son Sparrow James Midnight Madden was brought into the world...really? Sparrow? Where did she get that from? Not to metion Midnight came out of no where either.
What is with the celebrities and crazy baby names? I'm assuming this falls into the category of "I'm rich so I do what I want." And I guess since these celeb kids will not be submitting the resume or filling out any job applications ever, what does their name matter? After all, they will be in a classroom filled with other children with weird names. None of them will be making fun of each other, they will be laughing at the kid named Aidan or Madison, names of the non-celebrity world.
The sad part is that Sparrow is not the worst celebrity baby name out there. Let me provide some examples of my favorites:
- Sage Moonblood, child of Sylvester Stallone (sounds like the name of an eye shadow color by Mac)
- Pilot Inspektor, child of Jason Lee from My Name is Earl (was this baby conceived by members of the mile high club?)
- Kyd, child of David Duchovny (they just got lazy with this name)
- Memphis Eve, child of Bono from U2 (I just don't know)
- Ocean, child of Forest Whitaker (I guess he wanted to keep it in the names of nature)
- Jermajesty, child of Jermaine Jackson (no comment, just blank stare)
And my favorite ridiculous celeb baby name is from some celeb chick that I don't even know but I had to mention this because it is just that GOD AWFUL and I just plain feel bad for this kid. His name is Audio Science, child of Shannon Sossaman...WHY??
Whatever happened to regular names? Yeah, there might have been 4 Sarah's, 2 Ashley's, and 3 Jason's in your class but that's what last names are for! What if Audio Science ends up being hard of hearing and fails biology? That would follow him around his whole life! And if poor Jermajesty does not become king of a castle, that would ruin the purpose of his life...Can they be satisfied with life if they do not fulfill the duties of their names? See, you have to think about these things!
Sidebar...Anyone can legally change their name at the age of 18. I would highly recommend these kids take this into consideration -- KscaY

That's my JAM!!!-Eric Roberson edition
![]()

So after much anticipation...I finally received my new Eric Roberson cd (entitled "Music Fan First")in the mail. And I have to say that this album is FRICKIN AMAZING!!!!!!! Granted I may be a little biased but honestly even if I didn't adore ERRO's music, I promise I would still feel the same way about the album. It is loaded with 17 tracks of AWESOMENESS. Now think about it...17 tracks? That's a lot nowadays. I was jus thinking the other day...how much i loved all of Maxwell's new songs on his album...and then I looked at the back and remembered that there was only 9 songs (I'm not trying to diss or any thing but I'm just trying to prove a point). Now I digressed. Anyway ,like I was saying,"Music Fan First" is full of 17 tracks of pure greatness. Good feelings just radiate from this album every time you hear it. Tracks such as "The Newness" and "Borrow You" make you want to dance in your room in front of the mirror, imagining yourself in the club with that bomb outfit on, while some fine guy/girl admires you from afar...then comes to dance with you, enjoying the music just as much as you. Tracks such as "Dealing" and "How Could She Do It" make you dive deep into thought about love and loss while you sip wine in ur fave chair. "Weekend Getaway" is the straight baby makin/lap dance song that is required on all good albums. Caution: when you play this song...beware...your clothes will not be on for much longer. lol.
You may think that I am hyping the album up or jockin...but honestly Im not. I just know a great album when I hear it...and this is a great album. But don't take my word for it...check it out for yourself. U'll soon feel me...I promise it'll change ur life.
Sidebar....now the other pic is of my bestest and I while in the ATL airport. We ran into ERRO and his band while waiting for our flight. It was the highlight of our trip. Love you ERRO!!!!!--azureDizzle

The Dressing Room

Ok, so I may be somewhat obsessed with SATC (Sex and the City for those who don't know). Anywho, they are working on the next movie and I'm uber excited! Sadly while I have seen probably every episode of the show, I have only seen the movie pretty recently (like the past month) sshhhh! Don't yell at me! I know, I know. But when it came out, I was more focused on graduating than going to the movies.
But as we all know, the best thing about the show, other than its "sidebar"-like realism, is the FASHION. And because I am sooo awesome I got some pics of the great fashions that are going to be in the next movie. Well, the most WEARABLE fashions from the movie, while Carrie has some freakin awesome fits, most are unwearable by the normal Columbusite. Heck, its even weird for her in NYC! lol.
I will be continuing the fashions for my next few posts (I can't hit you all at once with the fashionistaism, yes, I made it up!) because the seasons are achangin' adn so should your wardrobes! I'm excited for layers and peep-toe booties this fall, aren't you?!
*In the group pic of the ladies, I had to cut out Charlotte, as much as I usually looove her "Suzie Homemaker" look, it was really bad in the pictures in a pink peplum suit, yuck. --Brie Z

So I watched the Chris Brown interview on Larry King wednesday night and somebody please tell me that you also found it to be POINTLESS!
He did not talk about "that night" not one bit! Umm that's what we wanted to hear CB! He continuously told Larry that he wanted to respect him and Rihanna's privacy by not speaking about the events that occurred...gee thanks...so why did you do the interview? Besides him not telling us ANYTHING about the real details and specifics, he made a couple of comments that made no sense in my opinion...
Larry asks him, "Do you remember that night?" he responds, "No..." In rebutal, Larry questions, "So what was your reaction to the pictures?" CB says, "Wow, I was in shock." Yeah...Chris? YOU DID IT! Please stop acting like you don't know why her face looked like that. He had the nerve to say that he didn't know if the pictures were real or altered. Larry should have asked him next, "So after that last punch to her face, you didn't look back to see your work? You're not a man who liked to see his accomplishments?"
Then the next thing that made me really wanna smack C Brown is when Larry asked him,"Had Rihanna ever asked you why this happened?" He says, "No..." but the look on his face said, "No, duh! Why would she? She knows what she did!" as if this whole line of questioning was just ridiculous. I'm thinking to myself, either he beats her on a regular and this time was no different from any other OR Rihanna had just confessed to sleeping with 50 guys, gave Chris the nastiest mix of STDs imaginable, and knew this beat down was coming. Not saying that its right, but if you reveal all that to your man, I'm just telling you now to bob and weave!
My whole take on this interview was that he did it to get Rihanna back. He professed his undying love for Rihanna and how he loves her and is in love with her. He wanted her to be happy no matter what. The role that he played was the sympathetic and empathic victim but Chris...you aren't the victim! You had NO scratches, bruises or anything on you so I need you to go ahead and cut out that act. Not buying it! I bet $5 they will be back together at some point in time...and I bet $10 his new album will flop...sorry CB!

Ok, so I went to the CUTEST wedding Sunday. So what I'm late!
Anywho, a good friend of my BF is a news anchor here in Columbus. For starters it was casual, no fuss, and all about sundresses and Hawaiian shirts. We got there and the cutest little girl laied (ok, so past tense of getting a lai put on) us. They were real orchids! There were ice sculptures all over with fresh fruit and cocktail shrimp.
Upping the awesome factor, of course, there was an open bar (sans Riesling boooo!!!) but they did have a signature drink with a combo of the couple's names the D'Angela! (They even had fresh lychee in it to rep her Chinese heritage!)
Anywho, the menses (yes, menses, plural of men because it is not plural enough for me) came through the crowd to "It's Raining Men" as they did stripper moves. The maids, with the bride following close behind, came through to none other than Abba's "Dancing Queen" both sang by a live band!
The best man was the groom's 4 month old grandson which was awesome because to do the ring exchange there was a hoopla about him needing a burp cloth. Gross and cute at the same time.
Sidebar...Now, as cute as it was, would I want my wedding to be like this? I dunno, but it made me think about whether or not I'm ready for this kind of thing and having to put it together. I mean, I have seven siblings who I have to invite and between them I have 13 neices and nephews! Have you ever wanted something, but didn't want to put the work in to get it yet? Yeah, thats about where I am with that.
Next subject please--Brie Z

Welcome to the Real World!
I wish that our college professors/advisers would have warned us about the life of a college graduate. Its not as wonderful as everyone makes it out to be. Before I actually graduated, I thought that life would be so much easier and wonderful after I finally got my degree. I actually believed in the "post-graduate myth"...that after my college years I would find a wonderful job, get a new car, new apartment, get to travel with my friends to fun destinations whenever we felt like it, buy those pair of shoes that I "couldn't live without" cuz I had a degree and a job and could do so....
but sadly this is all a lie. No one tells you while you're in school that you wont be able to find a job after graduation or if you do find one, it will be some random dead end job that you can do in your sleep...or that people will look at you crazy, while ringing up their shoes, when you say that you have a degree and all they can ask is "and you work retail??". They don't tell you that you will have to live paycheck to paycheck because once those student loans kick in...it will kick your ass. On top of the other necessary bills (cell phone, credit cards, etc) And don't even think about going out or shopping or on vacation. These are basically non-existent. And for a shopaholic like me..that is devastating all in itself. They don't tell you that you'll need to damn there work two jobs to pay all the bills that you have and live midway comfortably (I'm trying to get my side grind on as we speak). They also don't tell you that once you graduate you'll hate the real world so much that you'll be running to get back in school...literally running. Its a struggle out here. Now I understand why people stay in school 5, 6, 7 years. Instead of having a banner at graduation that says "Congratulations", it should say "Our condolences". So let me end by saying...don't believe the post-graduate myth. Life after graduation is not all that it's cracked up to be. Trust.--azureDizzle
